It isn’t about laundry, but economy. Simplicity is a way of life for so many people, and these paintings are symbols of that way of life. Choosing to consume less, focus on little tasks, aware of their impact, is a very proactive method in changing many aspects of our everyday life. Simplicity is beautiful, but my methods of creation can get a bit raw, purposely allowing for the viewer to think more about the subject’s meaning than a pretty picture
